Aba is a beautiful restaurant with a modern and quaint vibe. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, and we chose to sit outside. It was very cozy and the temperature was perfect. It was a great spot to relax and enjoy the evening. The service was very friendly and attentive. We only had drinks and dessert. The menu is somewhat pricey. The frozen yogurt was light and refreshing. The pistachio panna cotta was interesting both the panna cotta and the orange topping were good on their own, but together the combination didn’t quite work for me. Paid parking was difficult to find but this was a lovely spot with great ambiance.

Go for the outdoor seating, it’s shaded. It’s a great atmosphere. Superb drinks and food! Highly recommend the Short Rib Hummus! My server paid great attention to my food allergy and was able to suggest alternatives. It’s shareable serving sizes. Can’t wait to visit again!!

I’m so delighted I got to finally try Ava Austin on a whim. I had it on my “to go to” bucket list for about 6 months. I was in Austin for a Texas REALTORS conference and some friends invited me to join. I’m so glad I did. Upon seating, our server expressed it’s a California Lebanese fusion. She was right. My friends are from Syria and were absolutely tickled to see Muhammara on the menu as it’s from their region. We absolutely tried it and loved it! Everything we tried, we wiped clean on the plate! The mezze platter was a great starter with the fresh bread. I could tell everything was made in house. The lamb and beef kefta was cooked to my liking and seasoned just right. The tzatziki sauce paired so well. The basmati rice had a slight citrus to it, but it was just right with the kefta, sauce and some bread. Be sure to leave room for dessert! The chocolate olive oil cake is so dreamy. It had the slightest dense texture that melts in your mouth with the whipped cream. Our server was balancing various large parties. We had to ask another server to help replenish some items but it was still prompt service for the most part. The atmosphere is so fresh and inviting outside. Inside is a bit more formal, upscale. The bathrooms were a bit dim for my liking, but I guess they set the mood. Overall, it’s a great spot for a professional lunch with colleagues to a laidback setting with good friends, or even alone!

Aba absolutely blew me away! Every bite bursts with bold, vibrant Mediterranean flavors from the creamy hummus to perfectly roasted veggies and juicy, tender meats. The atmosphere is chic, lively, and effortlessly fun, making it perfect for a date night or night out with friends. Service was friendly and attentive, adding to an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to go back! 🫶🏾

I’m pretty sure this is one of the trendier restaurants in Austin, and the interior proves it—beautifully designed with a warm, modern Mediterranean feel that makes you want to linger. The menu has a wide range of spreads and entrées. We kept it light this time with chicken kebab, crispy potatoes, and traditional hummus. Everything was delicious and the hummus with fresh pita was a standout I’d absolutely recommend. As someone who loves Mediterranean cuisine, I’d happily return, especially to try their selection of Eastern European wines.

Aba is the more nearly version of Ema. The dishes and service were exquisite. Came here twice in one week and I don’t regret it at all. The brisket hummus had more meat than hummus. It was amazing, so savory and wonderful. The labneh is sweeter, but a great starter. So fresh and fun. The pork belly was savory and smoky with little beets and a tangy syrup. I loved it and my daughter loved it as well.

Aba was absolutely amazing!! From the cool vibe and decor, to the exceptional staff, and most importantly the stellar food and cocktails! It is a tapas style restaurant so we were able to try multiple dishes and each one was delicious. Our favorites were the branzino, the lamb kebab, and the falafel. Definitely give this place a try and be sure to make a reservation :)

Visiting from SF and came here for a friend's birthday lunch!! We were lucky and got seated immediately outside, which was shaded and still very comfortable, even on a hot day. This place was SPECTACULAR; I'm always a little skeptical of places with a lot of hype, but Aba truly delivered on every expectation. We ordered the whipped feta, brussel sprouts, heirloom chicken thighs, and the pistachio crusted halibut. They were all so delicious!!!! Zero misses. Every dish was bursting with flavor and thoughtfully put together. We reached literal flow state as we alternated taking bites from each dish. I'm very taken by the whipped feta; super fluffy and came with very well seasoned pita bread!! Major shoutout to our amazing waiter, David, for being an absolute joy and so incredibly kind to us. He was super helpful and attentive!!! For my friend's birthday, we chose a date cake to take to go (which tasted DIVINE), and we nearly left without it -- but David ran after us to make sure we didn't forget it 🥹💖 #RaiseForDavid #BonusForDavid

Aba Austin made for such a great date night. We got on the list for the main restaurant but after visiting the outdoor bar, directly across the walkway, we decided to post up there. Reason, my wife and I weren’t exactly met with warmth by the three hostesses, but we were eager to try the restaurant and discovered that adjacent to it, the same establishment has an outdoor bar, beautifully decked out in plants and romantic lighting. The drinks were creative and delicious, and every small plate we tried was packed with flavor. The Mediterranean-inspired menu felt fresh, vibrant, and perfect for sharing. The atmosphere was warm, stylish, and relaxed without feeling too formal. Definitely one of those places where you want to slow down, enjoy the conversation, and try a little bit of everything. The bartender was inclusive, friendly and informative, and we honestly felt a little more welcome on that side of the restaurant. Looking forward to coming back again.
